Help with Outlook 2003

I just reinstalled Windows XP Pro on my machine and reinstalled Office 2003. I was able to import my old mail, but now it doesn't let me check my e-mail. Whenever I push Send/Receive, I get this error. ANy ideas?

I was just spending this weekend battling my laptop with WinXP re-install too. I am not quite sure from looking at the pic, but did you actually set up email connection? Because importing your old messages from saved folders is not the same as setting up the email account itself. BTW, which email service is it? Internet based or something else?

Did you set up your account(s) yet? POP3, SMTP, settings, etc?

is your pst file still located on that server? and can you actually access that folder?

When exactly do you get that error message?

Click on Personal Folders and does that open?
Click on Archived Folders and does that open?

You also want to check your Data Files location. Go to Control Panel | Mail. Then Show Profiles and select the profile that you are having problems with. Then select the Data Files button. Verify that paths there are valid by clicking on the items and then Open Folder...

I did setup my pop info. The account is my e-mail account from my cable internet (Cox HSI). All I did to get my messages back was to get my .psts back from another computer on my home network. That's where I originally backed them up to. They are on my machine now. I can access my local folders and archieved folders, but I can't send/receive new e-mail.

Let me know if you guys need anymore info!
