yeah, the boxter falls in that catagory ...

I would rather have a 20 year old Porsche than a Boxter ...
something for the yuppies to drive because of the badge, and also drive 45 on the freeway !!!

only good thing with the boxter is it's a cabriolet ( convertable )

for those interested, Boxters are cheap after the warranty period is over. These idiots are afraid to change their own oil, let alone handle all the maintenance that they need. So, they dump them after the Lease period or the warranty period ( 3 - 5 years ) so the market is swamped and they go for CHEAP !! especially here in SoCal ..

    whenever you see a boxter driver, say " Nice 986 " , and they will say " It's a Boxter ", then call them an idiot .... it's a 986

I do drive an 11 second Golf (its a 2.slow) but it does not have a GTI badge, its a regular Golf and as far as I know, I drive pretty normal.
Watching the video almost made me sick and if I ever tried something like that, one of these things would happen:

I think if you want to come up with some generality about cars driven badly, its mostly the ones that are either trendy or look-a-like trendy (like the BMW 318). So if Corollas ever become trendy, you will be seeing them cutting you off and playing tricks just like a BMW.
Thats it, its the idiots current trendy cars. I live in london UK, I think the current trend is the golf and the audi a3, it was the BMW before but they calmed down now. As I said it had nothing to do with the car, its the type of drivers (majority) that get attracted to those type of cars.

Put it this way, theres ford focus wherever I go, I have only seen one who did stupid things. I have seen 2 focus RS and 2 VW R32s, they all behaved. I drove side to side with evos, scoobies, skylines, supra, ferrari 360, I can name more fastercars, my point is they are all behaved. I have seen some of them drive really fast on the motor way, but never idiotics.

Cant be the car, got to be the driver that drives it.

Does a trendy car need to be driven like that?

Heres what I noticed, when a new trendy car comes out only the richer poeple can afford it. Those poeple drive thier car like everyone else.

Give a few years those rich poeples ex trendy car get sold second hand cheap. The poeple with less money can now afford them, its their trend now.

This is where the problem starts, I think but then again trendy people like to be noticed
