Gonna try to get back on track in the next 6 weeks--I get 3 paychecks in september instead of 2, and I just sold my station wagon and my laptop, and the bronco goes up for sale this weekend.

Was thinking about buying a motorcycle again, since I had BoyNextDoor's payment for the laptop and the check for the station wagon cleared. Decided to make a payment instead, before I did something colossally stupid

I was planning on fixing my bronco since this is a magic month (3 paychecks instead of the normal 2), but I think it's a total loss now--possibly a cracked block.

I will also find out if I still have a job at the end of the month. My company announced that we are being purchased, and the new CEO said that letters will go out on the 23rd that will tell us if we still have jobs. I'm not terribly concerned, but I'm also not about to make myself any less liquid than absolutely necessary. My heart did skip a beat when he mentioned the cost savings that can be had by moving some operations to India.

The plan right now is to make payments on the 30th, assuming I still have a job. I'm paid up through something like 2009 right now.
