    Smile God save the Queen!

Feeling kind of patriotic as the Queen came to open our new advanced structures and dynamics facility. She is tiny! Prince Philip was on form as usual making a remark about us not getting much work done.

The security that was going on was mental. I knew it would be but it doesnt dawn on you until you see it all going on where you have been going to uni for 5 years. Crazy.

i always get lost in london trying to get to my mates by tower bridge.

The only landmarks i know are Tower bridge, the other bridge before it, trafalgar square and buckingham palace. Last time i was there i went though marble arch and realised i was ont he Mall (got to be the most recognisable street in the world) so i headed down towards the palace trying to think if i was going the right way, relaised i wasn't so pulled the handbrake and span it round on the Mall (it was night time)

No i don't flamin ave GPS - thats wot i is building me carPC for!

Uk_MP3car - i kow just what you mean about taking 2 hrs. It takes me ages to get from tower bridge to the M4 and drives me nuts. I am like "I jsut want to get out of this ******* city". I prefer the country side and have never lived more than 5 minutes from the nearsest motorway. Even in Bristolwhent he traffic is clear i can get onto the M32 in 5 minutes and then the M4 in another 5.
