    Remove Aftermarket Dash Kit

I have a question, does anyone know of a good way to get those damn ugly aftermarket dash kits back off?

I ask because the used Volvo I bought came with a aftermarket burlwood dash kit, and I want to take it back to the stock grey.

I just dont want to go and start ripping it off when there might be a easier way.

Dashkit, can you find anything like a screw or anything? I can't really picture what this looks like.

use a hairdryer to heat it up, then the adhesive should weaken and come off easily.

I believe it was covered in an earlier thread, but to save you searching: explosive bolts. That or tie one end of a chain onto the dash, and the other to your house. Then go to work. If either doesn't work, a hair dryer and a good wiggling.
