With the price of gas these days, it's damn near impractical (and financially unsound) to drive a 4-wheeled vehicle. I get ****y when I have to put $9 of gas into my bike, let alone $30+ into the Supra.

So if you figure that into the cost of owning a bike vs. a truck, it would probably seem much more doable

Yea very true, just your chances of death are slightly higher on the bike . But trust me, if I didn't live in the northeast and lived some place that I could ride my bike the whole year I'd have a bike first and a truck/car second that's for sure. I really want a motorcycle but being in Maine it only leaves about 3 or 4 months out of the year that I can ride it and even during those months it's usually sandy as all hell. Definitely going to get one eventually..just need to work it into the budget. Surf shop first

Lol no, I have a 3:2 wetsuit (3 mil thick) and I'm getting either a 7:4 or 6:4 (7 and 6 mil thick) which lets me surf all year round. Best surf is actually in the winter for us. Summers are usually pretty flat and a lot of longboard waves

WHOA! $2.55!?!? It's $2.05 here MAX. It costs me around $40 to fill my truck and lasts me just about the work week if I only go back and forth from work (which never happens).
