Yep I'm there with that one. Always looking at dashes when in other peeps cars, trying to work out where best to put the screen.

Spent the whole journey to the airport once going through the options in my brother in laws Golf. by the time we had got to the airport I had just about worked out the whole install, screen, HU relocation, PC location, where to put a trackball mouse, best place for the GPS mouse and so forth. This was all of course in my head, didn't share the info with him, he'd never go for it.

hmmm that sounds familiar. My mums 307 has a double din space - dammit! But i looked at the pug satnav for it and it is a motorized VDO single din screeen that blocks the vents - what a load of crap!
