Where to rent a trailer (bowling green, ky)

I bought a 1987 bronco last friday for $800, but it's in Bowling Green, KY. I test drove it and the steering is pretty sloppy, so I don't want to drive through the construction zones in Nashville and Birmingham where the lanes are about 2 feet narrower than normal.

I had fully planned on renting a trailer from Uhaul, but they just told me that the bronco is too heavy for their trailers.

I hope I can just fix the steering (there is an adjustment screw on the power steering pump that is supposed to fix it), but it looks like if I can't fix it on the spot I'm gonna have a wild ride back to Starkville!

So, where else can I try to rent a trailer? I looked at Budget and Ryder, but couldnt find where either of them rent trailers--just trucks.

That would cost me more than I paid for the truck!

and the bronco is REALLY big, so i don't think it would fit inside. This is a Full size Bronco, not a bronco II

The idea behind it is that the last time I moved all my stuff to Nashville, it cost me $1100 for the Uhaul truck, trailer for my car, and fuel. For that amount of money, I told myself that the next time I decided to move I would just buy a truck.

    So I did.

The drivetrain is in pretty good shape for a truck with 200k miles on it. I'll keep it for a while, move to wherever, and then sell it when I get there. In any case, I'll be better off than if I had rented a truck to move.

You intend to drive that thing cross country with all your possessions in it?
Wow - I dunno if I would trust a Bronco with 200K miles, especially one you just bought.

I dont know where I'm moving to yet

I just gotta get the hell outta here.... Why?

What's the first thing you think of when you hear "Mississippi"?

I guarantee it isnt "high paying jobs," "great education system," or "technological marvels."

And brrman: the phrase "wing and a prayer" does come to mind
