    Anyone into snowboarding...???

Just come back from Tignes in the French Alps and had a blast!! Had full access to the neighbouring resort of Val D'Isere and totally ripped the whole mountain! Had to miss the UK national mp3car meet for it though... sorry!!
But what an amazing week!! Went with two guys who are accomplished skiers but managed to convince them to snowboard the whole week . One of them's only boarded for three days in America, and the other tried it a few times on an indoor slope. As for me, I did a whole season last year!!! Needless to say, I put them through hell as I blasted through the morning ice and moguls, and they both wiped out at high speeds trying to clear an uphill section!!! I feel kinda bad about it, but it's nice to be the one in front, rather than the one that people always wait for, as was the case for me last year!!
Also been practising some butter tricks - been pulling off some serious manuals all week (that's wheelies to you non-skater/boarder dudes!!), with a few half cabs here and there. Been bending the board completely out of shape!! I've also learned to butter my way along flat sections and up mild hills whilst everyone else has to take off their bindings - awesome! Buttering is so cool!! I prefer to watch someone popping the board with style than do big jumps - anyone else agree?
What was really funny was my friends managed to get sunburned on the first day, even though it was cloudy!! I told 'em to put my factor 30 on, but they just looked at the sky then gave me a funny stare - should've trusted the seasonaire!!
Had a throroughly fantastic time, and can't wait to go again! Heads up to all you boarders out there - keep on ripping! And if any of you have never tried it - you don't know what you're missing!! Oh yeah, props to you skier-type peeps too...

Damn, skiers - always creating a trail of moguls everywhere you go!! And you got no style either!! And stop dropping your ski poles under the chairlifts will ya - the laughter kills me everytime!
Yeah heard of Busc - met a couple of Busc workers last year. Met a party of boarders on the night train to London - I asked where they worked this season, and they replied that they hadn't - they JUST snowboarded!!!!

Seasons pretty much over around here...

I also loathe the retards who sit infront of jumps or at the tops of hills. What're they so afraid of, damnit?

Yeah, it's one of the reasons I always slow down coming up to a crest.

Should be getting my photies back tonight - mate's developing three disposables AND putting them on CD for six pounds - nice!! Took some footage on my phone too - bit limited though, as I didn't trust my friends to hold it and ride at the same time....

Season's almost over here too, but I'm giving some serious thought to going to a summer snowboard camp and learn some more tricks...
