I don't think that he's gonna heat treat it. He didn't even take it off when I payed him $1350 to fix it. Because to take it off you have to cut the metal, take it off, and then weld it back on

I mean I don't even wanna waste $40. I know that its gonna look like ****. From a distance it will look ok, but it will still have scratches. It will also have smaller dents if you look at it from a 100º angle. I already had him do his $40 job once. No need to try it again.
