After you get the sensor installed, unplug the battery for like 20 min. Let the ECU reset its timing maps.

I need to do that too. My ECU was tuned when I first got the car. At that time the gas pedal was a on/off switch The ECU will never fully retrain itself with my current driving style, so I have to reset it. That's partially why I get awful gas mileage (10-12 city, 14 highway).

Now how can you justify owning an old car that does that kind of milage????

It really ****es me off when people drive round in stupid *** cars that burn that much fuel when they don't need to. it is irresponisble. YOu guys should try having the fuel tax that we have ovr here (80%) maybe then you will buy fuel efficent cars that don't destroy the environment and waste natural resources!

14mpg ont he motorway is obscene. Boris please get that damn car sorted so it burns less ont he motorway! The town mpg i can live with, it is a big car and it is your right to have a big car if you feel you need it (why i don't know)
but 14mpg ont he motorway!!!!! Sort it out and drive more efficent too! The USA really does need to cut down on it's fossil fuel consumption - that is one way it really could make the world a better place instead of destroying countries! END OF RANT

The US has some 2+ billion barrels of oil in reserves if ever the supply ran out or got cut off. Besides, there's plenty of other middle-east countries we could take over if we ever need more oil And I hear drilling through wildlife preserves is a great source as well (to hell with the indigenous species, we need to power our visible-from-the-moon SUVs!).

That being said, it's irresponsible for everyone to drive cars/trucks/SUVs when bikes get 40-60mpg!

    Ok, thread-crap mode off.

BTW, great car lgbr.. a friend of mine here at work had a 1st gen MR2 supercharged and flipped it doing 35 in the rain. The MR2 turbo was my first choice before the Supra, but couldn't deal with only 2 seats.

I'm tired of back seats. A lot of times I'd drive with a friend and his girlfriend, and they'd just sit in the back seat and I'd be all alone. Other times there were people in the back seat that like to scream and hit me for some reason. I've ditched those immature douches but more might come up. Besides, two seaters are very intimate. The *****es love it.

My car is probably getting 6, maybe 7 mpg right now.

This car can be a ***** to work on. Some dick screwed the oil filter on way too tight, and couldn't be removed without something special.

    Here's where it is:

No wrench in hell is going to fit on the filter and fit in there. So I found a clamp:

We always used to slam a meaty screwdriver in them and turn. Bit messy but fun.
