Getting back on topic, I don't know if this would work on not. You would have to keep track of every person that you think has been helpful and then vote for the one person out of all the people you are keeping track of.
A better idea would be is to have some sort of a tracking system. Everything you read a helpful post you could click a link under the users name and it would add a point to that users total. At the end of the month the person with the most points wins and the points get reset. I have seen similar systems on other forms so I think this can be implemented pretty easily.

i was wondering the other day so i sent her an email. She said she is working on other stuff at the moment. she has been on breifly i think.

oh she also said that someone called jjh221 had been sending her dodgy PMs and offering his manhood so she was trying to keep a low profile to see if he stops! oh **** that is you....
