The lower the number the better

That reminds me.. I need to get tinted some time during the summer. Black interior + LA sun = burned back and *** when I get into my car

I had my windows tinted at a place on Wilshire, and they did a GREAT job. Fast service, looks PERFECT, and the price was good. I strongly recommend them. I don't remember their name, but they are on Wilshire, on the south side between the 26 and 29th block, just west of the Wells Fargo (same side).

There's a lot of Wells Fargo There's a kid at my school who has this great tink.. its dark but also a tiny bit reflective. It looks awesome. I'm gonna ask were he got it and what kind. Also I need to make sure its not metal based, otherwise no radar or signals would get into my car.

Interesting I didnt even think about that. I've been calling tint shops all week looking for the best prices. I'm definatly going with a lifetime warrenty against bubbling cracking fading.....at 20%. However most places only use a "lifetime" product which is metal based.......and most of the lifetime material at places that offer different varieties is metal based as well. The average price I'm seeing on a 2 door car is about $160. However I found one place that has "pig protection", its $230 for the tint, then $59 for a plan that enables you to get free tint on your car for life, in case a cop pulls you over and gives you a repair order to remove your tint. Also they only charge $69 for the tint removal. I'm up in the air on where to go......this deal is nice if i constantly get harrased by cops, but i've never even been pulled over. I think I will opt for one of the places I called that does it for $125 lifetime warrenty.

Heh, whoops, I forgot to add 'In Santa Monica'. Ok, the place is between 23rd and 24th street in Santa Monica on Wilshire, on the south side of the street. Lifetime warranty.

Just my 2 cents you can buy a car in the conus and register it in hawii, if you are a resident ,especially if you are military. Military really isnt that good for shipping vehicles anyway. I had 3 when I changed stations and they wouldnt even ship one.

Most of out plates over here are the same no matter where you live ( ie County )... the only diffrences are Jersy, and Isle of Man where they have there own governer working for the Queen... so effectivly a mini goverment.
