Why would your PC detect a wireless router as new hardware?
The PC would connect to the router using a network connection (wired or wireless).
Check the device manager and see what hardware is being detected.
Hi guys.
I installed a wireless router a few weeks ago. It is all working fine, but everytime I start my PC it starts the add hardware wizard. It is just mildly annoying. Anyone know how to stop it ??
Cheers
Matt

It might be detecting the UPnP on the router. There is a way to disable inside the router config.
I'll try that. Thanks
