no I'm not. Take one of your rugby player and putting padding all around him and put him in a real football game. I don't think he'll last a day with those 300 lb linebackers charging at him.

Are you nuts, all that padding is bound to slow him down? Those american jocks are too scared of losing their supposed good looks to charge a rugby player that hard! I guess that's why they always wear helmets. And just to reinforce the point, have you ever seen an A. football player with cauliflower ears? I rest my case.

You got to be kidding me right? That rugby guy won't know what hit him. If they didn't wear helmets we’d have a player dead every week. The amount impact from the hit would severely injure a rugby player. Plus you can't call rugby a manly sport. Every time I've watched rugby, all I've seen is a bunch of men hugging in a big circle. Other times, I seen one man give another man a boost by placing his hand on the other mans arse and feeling all up on it.
