the DFI is a good idea i think. I fell out of the build-your-own-performance-desktop ways a while back, since i have a laptop, but i heard only good things about it. Also, let me know whith the old one, b/c i'm ancuously colecting to get a cluster up. I'm planing on about 10-12 midrange pc's... I'l be on Ebay a lot...

don't go gigabyte 0l33l! they are such a ****ed company!

dunno if they suck as hard in the usa but my 2 1/2 month old mobo fried for no reason and the ****ers took7 weeks to get me a new one... never again. Wish I had of got a DFI now, go that route if you can alti.

I got basically the same as what you're buying except only a 3000+ winchester, it overclocks to crazy speeds but I need a proper power supply... cheap generic ones won't cut it, you want at least 20 amps on 12v

I actually have a gigabyte for 5 years now (same board) and never had problems with it. Never had to send it to them that is!
