Washing machine motor

I have come into posession of a washing machine motor. Any ideas what I could use it for?

Use it to power a winch attached to the side of your house.

See if you can use it in reverse as a wind turbine

The new 42" plasma is really creating a lot of drag, more power would be handy :D
