What Percent tint does everyone have or reccommend?

5% all around.....double layered all around except front doors......

problems are:

1) can't see **** at night...have to pull the r/s window down sometimes at intersections to make a right or might run someone over

2) can't park at night without pulling the same r/s window down( cameras going in soon to solve these visability problems.....)

3)cops....but in a minivan most just look the other way.....now if I drove a slammed honda or something I might not be as lucky...

Don't get metallic tint. It will block out radio signals interfering with rader detectors. Also is bad for GPS signals if mounted in car. Go with a more expensive ceramic tint.

you should get some cheap magmount antennas and put on the trunk. Looks just like an undercover police unit.

I have 25% on the front and 15 or 20 on the back, cant recall. Its the metallic kind, but I dont need any stinking radar detector anyway... and the gps reciever can go on the dash where there is no tint, hopefully that will work fine... not that there is decent gps software for the mac anyway.
I agree that getting a pro job done is important, and make sure they have it warrantied. I also agree that it is hard to see at night with anything lower than 15%. My friend had some pretty dark tint that caused him a few dings... I have enough trouble seeing at night with mine as it is, dont go 5%!!!!!

Well, if you've got a backup cam then you can go 0% in the rear
