Why does God allow good people to die? We arent supposed to understand these things, so stop trying to explain it.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Read The Brothers Karamazov for one of many educated takes that goes beyond quoting. Although a rather depressing take on life, it is far more philosophically sound than the "just accept it" mantra of a single religion that claims to be IT. You might want to explain why the words of christian writers (not God, he didn't write anything) are superiour to those of Islam, Zen or Scientology.

I think what the burger king avatar dude was saying was to think before you post..

Why start a thread (even though it is in OFF-TOPIC) that is going to get people all huffy puffy..

Sure, your not huffy puffy but some people most likely are. Topics like religion and politics are bound to get people flaming each other.. The question is.. Why even post it?

There are many other forums that talk about subjects like this. I don't think mp3car should be a place where subjects like this are brought up to get people at each other..

    Just my opinion..

Of course God can't make you check the last activity in a thread so that you can see that it's over a year old.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
