Living in america all you do is get misinformation, its called the govt and the fact all media whether print/tv/broadcast is owned by about 5 companies....so how can you get fair and balanced news when only 5 different opinions are in the whole country?

Whilst the BBC's actual entertainment has gone way down the pan in the last ten years, I find its news outlets to be informative and unbiased - way better than the Fox network which we have access to.....
UK has access to many news corporations - not just one!

I totally agree about keeping our thoughts/prayers/+ve energy for our UK friends and I know what it feels like to be in their position. I won't argue with 0l33l on the "numbers" although I find his attraction "precise" numbers in the face of the topic is ridiculous. And btw, there is more than one source.

I haven't heard anyone say they wish terrorism wouldn't stop. Let's stick with Scouse's suggestion and take a minute to think about all of the victims of terrorism.

Hey, it totally sucks whats happened, i guess i had a totally different view of it.

My girlfriend works the the BTP HQ, and bus blew less than 600m for there, some of the injuried were brought there, & treated. After work i headed down there to help out.

I tell you the officers that were coming in were covered in blood, no ****. If you can imagine a group of almost 50 officers sitting there in stunned silence, hardly eating the food we had given them, you start to form an idea of what the scene actually is/was like underground.

All in all from what i've heard 'the people in london' got off lightly - to say the least.

We had to stay at a hotel overnight, which was in plan view of the bus... i tell you the pictures on tv and in the papers dont do what happened there any justice.

Blood was spattered all over the ground, and on the surrounding building, 'items' were covered up with clothes, too small for bodies, so i guess they were 'bits'.

Even writing this i have a tear in my eye, my heart goes out to the people who have lost loved ones.

But we cant live in the bull**** 'london is burning with fear and terror', who the **** do they think they are?

If anything from this london has grown tighter.
