Why did you buy it?
- Beautiful old girl from the front (needs a bit of work mind...but we'll get there)
- Easily converted into a commercial (stupidly cheap insurance)
- V8 burble
- Oh, and the V8
- Immensely comfortable and quiet on the road
- Off-road prowess
- On-road bullying lol!
What do you like the most about your car?
- Lots of room for bike
- It scares boy racers...being twice the size and actually sounding powerful
What do you dislike about your car?
- The back end....horrid. And it is prone to rust
- Listing suspension

1990 BMW 520i...sounded nice, in its own way. Some local ******** broke the headgasket and that was that. He drove a Barney-purple Corsa for a time!

Fixed Problems:
- New suspension
- New steering
- Missing interior items
- Replaced part of transmission mounting
- Replaced L & R front door pockets and speaker grilles
- New front brake pads
- Whole car smelled bad and was filthy - pulled it apart and cleaned (including ventilation system)
- Dodgy custom parcel shelf used to creak - trimmed it down to size, but still has problems, so needs to be replaced
- Inadequate audio system wiring!
- Headlight globes to replace the ones that were double the power rating of what it should be!
- Fixed non-working horn
- Front door window used to shudder when closed shut (missing window guides)
- Probably more that I can't think of now...
Remaining Problems:
- Still transmission mount problems - still a little jerky when putting foot on accelerator and taking off
- Minor chips/dents/scratches
- Still some creaks, wind noise through door seal(?)
- Front seats have foam collapsed in some areas, make it less comfortable
- Engine whine at idle?

Why did you buy it?
- My dad bought it... I only saw the car myself about 4 weeks after. I would have prefered to pay more first off for a car that had less problems.
What do you like the most about your car?
- Style looks good from every angle (unlike some cars)
- Subaru design & quality
- Reasonably torquey engine for 2.2L
- More power than our old Leone I was driving before
- The back seats are the most comfortable position! (I never get to sit there though...)
What do you dislike about your car?
- Subaru parts are expen$ive for a low income student
- Transmission mounting problem can get annoying
- Imperfect body
