Current Milage:

Purchase Price:
- €2350/$2500

Fixed Problems:
- Dipstick leak onto manifold (phooo that stank)
- Minorly tiny exhaust leak (but damn it annoyed me!)

Remaining Problems:
- Alloys need TLC. Minor rust repairs. New tailgate! (any older RR owners know ALL about this)

What have you bought for it? (exclude carputer)
- 15% tint
- ICE system - Rainbow Audio, JBL, Resonant Engineering, SoundLAB etc

Future Plans:
- Stop listing to starboard! (Common problem)
- Finish up the interior
- LPG conversion

Why did you buy it?
- Beautiful old girl from the front (needs a bit of work mind...but we'll get there)
- Easily converted into a commercial (stupidly cheap insurance)
- V8 burble
- Oh, and the V8
- Immensely comfortable and quiet on the road
- Off-road prowess
- On-road bullying lol!

What do you like the most about your car?
- Lots of room for bike
- It scares boy racers...being twice the size and actually sounding powerful

What do you dislike about your car?
- The back end....horrid. And it is prone to rust
- Listing suspension

Previous and other cars:
1990 BMW 520i...sounded nice, in its own way. Some local ******** broke the headgasket and that was that. He drove a Barney-purple Corsa for a time!

- Subaru Liberty (Legacy) LX 1991 Series II Sedan

Color:
- Silver, (blue interior)

Current Milage:
- 200,000 KM

Purchase Price:
- $3000(AU)

Fixed Problems:
- New suspension
- New steering
- Missing interior items
- Replaced part of transmission mounting
- Replaced L & R front door pockets and speaker grilles
- New front brake pads
- Whole car smelled bad and was filthy - pulled it apart and cleaned (including ventilation system)
- Dodgy custom parcel shelf used to creak - trimmed it down to size, but still has problems, so needs to be replaced
- Inadequate audio system wiring!
- Headlight globes to replace the ones that were double the power rating of what it should be!
- Fixed non-working horn
- Front door window used to shudder when closed shut (missing window guides)
- Probably more that I can't think of now...

Remaining Problems:
- Still transmission mount problems - still a little jerky when putting foot on accelerator and taking off
- Minor chips/dents/scratches
- Still some creaks, wind noise through door seal(?)
- Front seats have foam collapsed in some areas, make it less comfortable
- Engine whine at idle?

- Nice matching blue floor mats, custom fit seat covers
- Steelmate Central locking kit (installed myself - eventually...)
- Steelmate Alarm/immobiliser (installed myself)
- Window tinting
- Response 4x50W RMS amp

- Response 12" Carbon Fibre Subwoofer 300W RMS (yet to install)
- 16" WRX wheels (yet to install, about to get tyres)

Future Plans:
- Build subwoofer box
- Put thicker power cable through to boot and distribution block for 2 amps
- New parcel shelf
- Response 4x 6.5" Kelvar coaxials 75W RMS to go with new parcel shelf
- Sound deadening stuff
- 215/50/R16 tyres very soon
- Carputer!
- Repair body...

Why did you buy it?
- My dad bought it... I only saw the car myself about 4 weeks after. I would have prefered to pay more first off for a car that had less problems.

What do you like the most about your car?
- Style looks good from every angle (unlike some cars)
- Subaru design & quality
- Reasonably torquey engine for 2.2L
- More power than our old Leone I was driving before
- The back seats are the most comfortable position! (I never get to sit there though...)

What do you dislike about your car?
- Subaru parts are expen$ive for a low income student
- Transmission mounting problem can get annoying
- Imperfect body

$21k with a 6 year amazing warranty through Heritage. Gift from parents and grandparents for graduation and getting my Eagle for BSA, also grandma thinks its a tradition now for grandparents in our family to buy cars for their grandkids when they go to college since my mom's grandma did lol. Hopefully I can get out of that tradition somehow. + Needed new car, Camry was dying.

Fixed Problems:
-Ummm the seatbelt cover wasn't popped in and I popped it in.. =P
-Some minor paint chips

Remaining Problems:
-Some paint issues thats about it

-Wanted an American car
-Good price for the car (was about to buy an '04 LS for 1k less haha same miles)
-It all around kickss complete ***
-Coupe, yet backseat more comfortable than my old 4 door camry

What do you like the most about your car?
-The double takes your forced to make when u see it, its so rare and unique
-It handles and powers well
-It kicks ***
-VERY comfortable AND sporty

What do you dislike about your car?
-Automatic Transmission with no manual option to drop in
-Not a big fan of the red color but it works (yellow would be pimp)
-It attracts unwanted police attention

- Around $300 cash, helped remodeled a friends basement for the rest

Fixed Problems:
- Bad mercury switch
- Automatic shocks had a shorted connection
- Got the head unit working

Remaining Problems:
- You can pull they key out of it while it's runnig, and it still works

- Steam cleaner
- Lots of various little things

Future Plans:
- Put in an Alpine 12" sub
- Figure out how to wire the sub to the head unit :P

Why did you buy it?
- Neighbor had it and I know he has taken great care of it

What do you like the most about your car?
- Good condition
- You can fit 10 people in it
- You can show off your parellel parking skills with it

What do you dislike about your car?
- Its huge!
- 10mpg
