1988 3.8 v-6 componants, should get me to 140 hp.
Maybe a ways down the line, for windstar minivan fuel system/air intake and maybe way down the line twin turbo's

Why did you buy it?
Cause it has a killer interior and I already have 2 other cougars.

What do you like the most about your car?
Its slow as it is ugly
btter then v-8 gas milage
decent stereo

What do you dislike about your car?
Alot of things. I will put ground effects on and new paint it black and make it sound mean. and its slow

Yeah, and the 5200lb station wagon with the 5.0 only puts out 150.
Same with the two 3400lb or so 86's.
torque monsters with 275lbs or torque @1800 RPM's, but definately no sports car.
also, the 5.0 runs flat on its face at a flying 4000 rpm's on the 290,000 car at about 4500 rpm's on both the wagon with a new engine and the 130,000 mile car.

Why did you buy it?
As long as I can remember I've always wanted either an old BMW or Jag. The black leather interior is why I bought this particular BMW instead of a newer burgandy/tan one w/ lower miles.

What do you like the most about your car?
-smooth ride
-tons of options/features/accessories/gadgets/etc.
-looks fantastic for it's age
-I'm a big aviation guy, and BMW used to make aircraft for Germany before WWII(along with Benz).

What do you dislike about your car?
-It's old and has high mileage.
-It idles a bit rough.
