    1996 Acura 2.5TL

    Fixed Problems:
    none yet, just got it 3 days ago

    Remaining Problems:
    doesn't have a carputer in it yet

    What have you bought for it? (exclude carputer)
    -moved in kenwood components from my old car into the front, factory speakers still in back

    Future Plans:
    -10" sub
    -dark as ***** tint
    -speakers into the back
    -rubber mats
    -carputer of course

    Why did you buy it?
    -needed a new car
    -reliable
    -1996 with 81k miles means it was taken care of
    -looks clean (good)

    What do you like the most about your car?
    -much more comfortable than my last car
    -much quicker (i clocked 0-60 at 8.1 seconds)
    -radio comes out perfectly for a touchscreen
    -sunroof = keep windows rolled up to let the ganj smoke out
    -automatic, tired of shifting. just want to lean back and chill.
    -rides smooth, handles great, shifts pretty sport-like

    What do you dislike about your car?
    -not a damn thing so far, i love it.

    Previous and other cars:
    -1993 Honda Accord LX, traded in for this car with 197k miles

    Possible Future Cars:
    -always lookin at Audi. wanted an A4 but got the acura instead... for now.

    1987 mercury cougar, 3.8 v-6 earth trembling 120 hp in a 3400lb car

    New tires
    bad brake lines to rear drums
    new exhaust cat back

    Remaining Problems:
    Bad water pump, car is parked till it gets warmer

    crappy cheap amp

    Future Plans:
    Duel exhaust(I cant spell bite me)
    1988 3.8 v-6 componants, should get me to 140 hp.
    Maybe a ways down the line, for windstar minivan fuel system/air intake and maybe way down the line twin turbo's

    Why did you buy it?
    Cause it has a killer interior and I already have 2 other cougars.

    What do you like the most about your car?
    Its slow as it is ugly
    btter then v-8 gas milage
    decent stereo

    What do you dislike about your car?
    Alot of things. I will put ground effects on and new paint it black and make it sound mean. and its slow

    1986 cougar with 5.0, soon to finish mustang engine conversion on origonal 297,000 mile engine, on the third tranny

    cant beat the parts interchange list there

    1989 convertable 2.3 mustang, blown engine
    1980's toyota corrola, died after about 5,000 miles on the freeway with only 3 gears

    Yeah, and the 5200lb station wagon with the 5.0 only puts out 150.
    Same with the two 3400lb or so 86's.
    torque monsters with 275lbs or torque @1800 RPM's, but definately no sports car.
    also, the 5.0 runs flat on its face at a flying 4000 rpm's on the 290,000 car at about 4500 rpm's on both the wagon with a new engine and the 130,000 mile car.

    Why did you buy it?
    As long as I can remember I've always wanted either an old BMW or Jag. The black leather interior is why I bought this particular BMW instead of a newer burgandy/tan one w/ lower miles.

    What do you like the most about your car?
    -smooth ride
    -tons of options/features/accessories/gadgets/etc.
    -looks fantastic for it's age
    -I'm a big aviation guy, and BMW used to make aircraft for Germany before WWII(along with Benz).

    What do you dislike about your car?
    -It's old and has high mileage.
    -It idles a bit rough.
