    Fat Mac

All I know about it is that it was called a Fat Mac... A quick google search brought up this.
I guess you could call it my computer, but it was really the family's. I remember though that it had NO hard drive, and that we had to boot the OS off a 3.5 floppy.
Old plans out the window because of an accident .

I used to love playing on my m8s intellivision and used to laugh at another m8 that used to spend all day programming his zx81 and then jog the rampack and lose all the code but then I was totally blown away by the Atari 400 when it came out... star raiders omg... just over the horizon was the Atari 600 and 800XL following along and with so many more games were coming out, I couldnt resist and bought one.

Amiga 1000. No HD, 1MB ram. We paid a good money for a second floppy drive and it was a lifesaver. No PC could touch those computers in terms of graphics or sound for years to come. Getting my 386SX33 was a step back.

one of mine was the "Texas Instruments TI-99/4A"

It used Basic and a Cassette Tape drive to save programs
we got it when it was cheap about $100 in 1983
    http://oldcomputers.net/ti994a.html

The second I had was "TRS80 Micro Color Computer (Model MC10)"
    here is a link
    http://oldcomputers.net/mc-10.html
It also used basic - I did not like it very well - it seamed harder to use
and the keyboard sucked - It was cheep also, about $100 in the early
    1980s

between 1985-1993 all my money went to videogames
Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, GameBoy, GameGear
    ect ect

My First IBM style computer was a Vtech LASER 486DX-33, 8mb mem
    and 250mb harddisk, Windows 3.1 - I upgraded the memory to 16mb
    - added a sound blaster pro 16bit - and got a "1 speed" cd rom drive
that cost $399 - and a ZOOM 14.4bps modem and a gravis game
pad - It was 1993 - My dad used his tax return to buy it for me,
He thought it would help me in school - it did - but at the time
I used it for Video Games And BBS-ing -

I still cant spell or type for crap
