    Vic20

My first personal computer was a VIC20 with a tape drive, Boy I was chillin then. Played with CoCo's, Timex Sinclair, TR-80's and Apple 400 & 800's over the years. They all bring back memories. Through the years I have moved on, but I still remember the good old days. It was kinda nice because you had to learn the system to use it. I remember making Dos Boot disks for an old 486 to manage memory to play a game. Ahh..BBS's with 14.4 connections, the sound that a USRO modem makes during handshaking. ..

Sorry took a bit of a tangent there, My Bad.

The first computer I had was the family computer it was an Apple IIc back in like 1983. We went through two other computers from 1991 to 1998 and then 2003 when my parents bought their second monster computer. My first computer that was acutally my own was a Micron PI 133 with 92 MB RAM and a 4 GB HD with a 4 MB Diamond Video card.

Wow! My grandad had one of those (well, a 1200 with a second floppy, I upgraded him to a 20MB HDD though in about '98!) - he only upgraded to a old 800mhz in 2001!

And your 90mhz wasn't fast compared to what some of us started on!!!

I have to say though a 366 0l33l that's still just about usable!!!!

Hmm... When 90mhz Pentiums came out I was still on a 12mhz ARM powered Archimedes!!!

Yeh... that was the first computer that my dad bought for me. The first one I used was my grandpa's 133mhz p1. I still have that one sitting in my desk. I've got like 13 comptuers at home, and 4 motherboards on the wall

Are they running on the wall or just ornamental? I knew a guy who had computers bolted to the wall and running perfectly because it was a small room and he ran out of spaces to put them...

1 486, 1 386, 1 p1, 1 667mhz pIII. I think the p1 was running before my uncle decided to use the case for scrap metal. I didn't try to run the 486 and 386. And the pIII is dead

No you aint cause my first was Atari 400. 6502 CPU running on 1.8Mhz with 8K

I nearly bought the spectrum ZX81 kit years before that

But then I was only 9 years old at the time.

My first PC is a 286 hardware emulator running on an Amiga 500.

Proper PC is an IBM 486 DX4.
