    What if you have dealing with Ice Cube or Vanilla ICE, not sure I'd want them to be contacted in emergency.

    Well I'm not in east anglia and at least 5 seperate real-life people I know have been emailed by their employers about it or heard of friends.
    I think it was also in the metro newspaper this morning which I read on the train, it's definately not a little thing that's just started up.

    From what I gather it's been around a while but it's became popular this last week cos of recent events.

    well im going to stick with EMERGANCY CONTACT.... it does what it says on tin, cant be confused with a supplier for frozen water, in-car audio suppliers or crap 80s rappers

    Was thinking most contact lists on the phones I have had, default too, listing contacts, numbers first then a,b,c... would it not be better to use 111a,111b etc. for fast display of the "ICE" contact??

    Just a thought.

    Interesting idea but why not just put this type of information in your wallet where you have your ID. Not everyone has a cell phone either. That way you could just have a card in your wallet that says: IN CASE OF EMERGANCY CALL:
    Then there is no need for secret acronyms.

    good point. ahhh i just had an idea...i was gonna post it but i think i will market it.
