News in "that area" not talk about Disney... LOL, you must be smoking crack. My parnets are almost neigbhors (20 mins tops) to Disney and trust me; They see them on the local news, if not more than anybody else.

Have you seen all the "magic" that goes into openning and closing Disney each day?

Your out of your mind. How is it Disneys fault when someone is hurt bad. So, only when the hurt is bad is it disneys fault, but when "hurt good" or not as bad, then it is not disneys fault. How is it thier fault one way or another. Stop making conclusions, and explain yourself.

I never said that people don't get hurt. People do get hurt. It happens. But, just because people get hurt doesn't mean it is disneys fault. Sometimes poeple do things that they should not. Lets take another example, and see if we can make a comparison. Some woman on the logflume "Flashes" her boobs to the camera. Is it Disneys fault. No, because the woman did something that she shouldn't have, and disney warns against doing it. Just because it happens, doesn;t make it disneys fault or responsibility. If a rider decides to remove his seatbelt on a ride, that is not disneys fault. If disney creates a ride that Millions, if not more, people go on and don't get hurt, but someone who has some sort of unknown genetic problem, or heart problem, that makes them susceptible to being hurt on the ride, how is it disneys fault.

ok and "There is no law, rules, or contracts stoping the news from talking about what happens at Disney land. Speak not of what you do not know." Yes there is I don't know what you would call it but there is something were the NEWS in that area can't talk about everhting that happens there.

That is true. But, your comments have nothing to do with that. Yes, people should have fun, and not get hurt, however, you are assingin blame to Disney with no reason. Show us how you think disney is to blame, show us what disney did wrong, that caused people to be hurt.

Just had to say, you dont live in FL. Your parents do. And I know for a fact you havent discussed this thread with them, so giving their opinion here is an obivous fabrication to get YOUR point across. I live 90min from Diznee, go all the time (not so much lately) and um O-Town (Orlando) get no special news for Disney everday. NO more than anything else, like the missing kid in Utah became national news when it should have been local. What you are talking about seems to be refering to BIG news and for it just to be in OTown news is ridiculous.

I understand your point, but everytime I visit I do hear some news about Disney (good or bad). I was comparing the amount of Disney stuff I hear now vs when I did live in FL. Also talking local stations, not big networks. Big networks will all have about the same amount of coverage for all stories (I doubt Disney ranks that high in news anyways). I will give payback one thing, you might be less likely to hear bad news about Disney on a ABC station vs another major player.

Lets put it this way. I did not know the shuttle launch was canceled until I visited, Orlando News (This story is linked on the front page). Now visit Raleigh News, no news about the space shuttle. I consider the shuttle to be news worthly, specially after what happened.

For even more fun search "Disney" on both sites.

Did you know she declined medical help, but a cast member called anyways. Which might have made the differance between life and death.
