LOL honestly are you really that bad in asking out? You should read some SS stuff, I think they still have a forum.

Something that you shouldnt take it a 100% seriously but the SS stuff are good to know.

Sounfs like she has a lot of emotional baggage. I would just go to her, ans ask her straight out if she's interested in expanding your relationship.

Tell her something like this: "Listen, I need to know something. I need to know if you want to continue just as friends or if you want to bring things up a notch. I care for/love you, but I can't keep playing these games. I really want to be with you, but I can't take a breakup with you because I like you too much as a friend. yadda yadda yadda...."

Hope this helps. I had the same kind of problem w/ a girlfriend a while back in 10th grade, it worked out for a while, but we are still very good friends. She just moved out of state.

Take a big step back. DO NOT RUSH THINGS WITH HER. Give her time to deal with her problems first. If it was meant to be, it will happen on its own.

See, thats what I want to believe. But then I hear these stories from a few people I know who are married now, where they tell me that if the other person hadnt tried so hard or put so much effort into making it work, that chances are they wouldent even be together.

I just dont want to look back 5 years from now and think, "man, i wonder if we would have been together if i would have tried a little harder, rather than just sitting back"
