    Buying a UPS

    There's been a number of brownouts in my area lately because of storms, so I would really like to get a UPS for my home computers. I'm just wondering if anyone here has had good or bad experiences with any particular UPS so that I can shop smarter.

    I've never had any problems with the 500VA series or above of APC, or Belkin UPS.
    I've had some trouble out of both with lower ratings.
