Nothing Deathtrap about them. Safe as houses. Seen them scare off a few pushy "prestige" owners when deciding who has right of way.

Wish I still had mine.
Less than 100 S series and Rapid series left registered in UK thanks to VAG culling them when they took over.

Tell you what, I would love another. I know most of the people that own the remaining road legal ones in the UK.
But they are just too rare to mess about with. Daft as it sounds.

lol. Everyone in czech meets this ****. EVERYTIME and EVERYWHERE. many peoples here really uses this skoda as daily car. But the car is ABSOLUTE ****. Who ever tried it, he knows.. It is rwd and has engine at rear, but overal its really box with four wheel. When you look at road (at any time) you will see some skoda here

Should i make actual photo of my street? There four skodas 120l!!
