dell laptop help - fn + numpad disable?

Somehow this laptop has automatically enabled the fn + numpad option when rebooted.

How do I disable it? This is causing a lot of problems with log in...

    anyone?

it was below the numlock option in the bios - there's the option to disable the 'use scrl lock' as fn key....that was causing the problems....now how this proffessor turned that on is a differnet story....
