Like I said in the first post this is just a heads up, if people dont care about it thats fine. I just thought I would give you everyone a heads up. He changes prices, lies about everything, and vists tons of forums trying to sell misc things. Not to mention it is a very good read for someone who is trying to kill some time, but please if you are going to post in this thread, I ask that you act as adults and not like a little teenage snot who is trying to get their post count up and be an e-thug. This posted for info and thats it

The members at pirate4x4 are making this guy an example by making him infamous around the world.

This thread should really have been called "Why not to try and screw over people on internet forums"

It is a funny read although I had to start skipping pages - too long.

Brief synopsis

This guy Charlie -

tried to sell some new gears for 100.00

Mikemocha sent him a check

charlie received check, cashed it then emailed Mike and said he wanted more money - he never sent gears

Mike and everyone else said - bull**** - send me the gears or my money back

Charlie was a dick said no - and other members got involved and posted info about Charlie. Member said resolve this with Mike or we will make your life miserable!

Charlie said - ooh I am real scared, i am not going to send gears or money.

It then became known that the gears were not new they had been installed in his truck

Mike said - send me my money back

Charlie sent the gears

Mike refused shipment

Charlie's, his parents and his employers phone #, addresses and email as well as Charlies high school yearbook pictures were posted on the forum(and much more)

Charlie finally sent a 7-11 money order to Mike.

Charlie apparently received thousands of phone calls including death threats. Charlie then found Mike's phone number and apparently harrassed and/or threated Mike and his wife.

Mike called the police who are going to talk to Charlie.

The 7-11 money order takes 30 days to clear and the members of pirate4x4 are not going to relent on Charlie until the money clears.

the power of the internet - wow - now if they could only
go after spammes and @ss holes that call when I am eating,
taking a crap - why the hell do they say taking a crap
why not leaving a crap ???

they took it a little to far - but I have never ruled out a road trip
to beat some @ss over any thing over $300-500 - or paint ball
attack - or both
