In the recall of Ford Explorers for Firestone tire tread separations, then Ford President & CEO Jacques Nasser repeatedly told the American public that "Your Safety Is Our Top Priority." Yet in Howard v Ford Motor Co., Ford told the court it didn't know what safety was. As Judge Ballachey observed after hearing the testimony of top executive including its former CEO Harold Poling, its former Vice Chairman Louis Ross and Vice Presidents Robert Transou and Helen Petrauskus among others:

Ford's dissimulation reached its nadir in the testimony of Bob Wheaton, Ford's witness designated as most knowledgeable about safety issues when he insisted that "safe is too subjective" and denied knowledge of any "written definition of what safe is within Ford Motor Company." Other Ford executives were similarly evasive when pressed on the question of whether or not a failed TFI module, under any circumstances, presented an unreasonable risk of safety.

A California law firm has petitioned the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to investigate what it says is a costly and dangerous engine defect.

The petition reports that spark plugs can blow out of engines because of cylinder head flaws. The engines in question are 4.6- and 5.4-liter V8s and the Triton V10, found in 1997-2004 E-series vans, F-series pickups, SUVs, Mustangs and Crown Victorias. As many as 17 million vehicles could be affected.

The petition claims that spark plugs have shot out of Ford engines “thousands of times” and requests that Ford be fined $15 million.
I know you can find these kinds of things on lots of vehicles. But I dont think any other company has so many mechanical problems.

This says alot : (I dont know if its true but it sounds plausible)

How about Ford cars just in general. My friend was telling me that Ford service writers make more money than GM service writers do, and that is only because there are more cars going through the Ford service drives than the GM dealers have going through theirs. And how about all those years that Ford trucks taco in the middle. And the reason they do it is because ford cheaped out on a $15 brace that was suppose to be in the frame.

Man im being mean. sorry tidder You know I like you , but I dont like the ford
