Got 8 of em, more than I run applications at work. I asked a passenger to try and open the sound one over a bumpy road damn it was funny.

Seriously it should be an Olympic sport.

You can tweak the sized of all the components that make up the windows desktop, which would give you larger tray icons, as well.
Display Properties > Appearance > Advanced. I'm not certain which one controls the size of the tray icons (as well as the taskbar itself, including Start button), but there is one.
Experiment!

I get a kick out of the putz's at work. They'll have 20 tray icons and the full WDM app on the taskbar... Running at 1024 Res! Only one or two apps can fit in the taskbar at any time!

Every time I see someone like that I become completely condesending and wonder why I work at this company. I've ****ed off a large percentage of the office doing stuff like that - they deserve it!

(I too have 20 tasktray apps, but I hide most of them unless they're active... So only 4 or 5 are seen at 1920res at any given time)
