    *noob* selling mobo w/o I/O plate??

    how come i noticed in that a lot of people are selling their mobos without an I/O plate? i figured if u were going to replace the mobo with another, the original I/O plate would not work with the next mobo. i guess im not seeing the rationale with this..

    maybe they just forgot. Or they might be able to reuse it. Or your mobo the mobo is actually junk.

    I/O plates are specific to the motherboard, so unless kmcniece has ones for the motherboard you're looking for, you'd be better off going without.

    VIA MOBOs backplates are really hard to find.... some times ebay sellers don't even have them so that is why you see a lot of people here at the forum asking to buy them.

    My best advice is to get the manual from VIA, print the back part diagram and make one out of plexy glass.
