Do you use a padlock on your shed / garage?

I was just told how to open any padlock on any shed with no key and no noise.

    the bigger locks are easier.

    20 seconds.

I have tried it, I was succesful on my 2nd attempt, I was shocked, so I did it again but this time I video'd myself, I will post it tomorrow, so you have till then to guess how I did it..........

If I can be told this, then every petty crook must also know, after all, as victims we usually find out how they do it after we have been screwed, this time I hope we have found out before...

Put a crowbar under the latch and pry it off the door, it won't wake anybody up.
Old plans out the window because of an accident .

I am guessing you either used a pick gun (either homemade or a store bought one) and/or the drag method of picking a lock. This will work on quite a few padlocks however I wouldnt say bigger is easier. Master Locks and similar are pretty much junk when it comes to really securing stuff. It really dosent matter though because as someone else said you can usually just pry off the hasp just as easy as picking the lock.

When it comes down to it about the only good locks are the higher graded padlocks (and they are not perfect). That would be similar to a Medco or other brand.

$5-$10 Padlocks just are not that great.
    $50 - $200 Padlocks are pretty good.

Dont get me wrong I am not doubting your skills just saying that depending on the technique it wont work with the "good" padlocks.

Its funny - there was some well to do peeps that used to steal
from every one around here - We used to use pad locks -
then they sold there 2 houses, one was a 2 story brick
house, and left - now we dont worry - plus we have cams
    every ware

    - its just funked up when some one that makes $100,000+
a year, steals from some one that makes $40,000 a year

This is true. However most of the vending machines have the more expensive locks on them. Also most lock boxes (at construction sites and what not) have American locks (PAIN IN THE @#$ TO CUT OFF unless you use a nice grinder). I would agree with the above comments regarding sheds and garages: why work on the lock when you can just pry off the latch?

I did say above that most of the locks out there are the $5 masterlocks and they are not great for secuirty.
