Hey I just scored a Power Mac 7200/120, with a Cyrix 586 120mhz card in it.
It's running MacOS and it can switch to DOS, however, how do you get Windows to install on it? It says it needs macshare.exe or something to be loaded in the DOS side before you can map Mac Drives to it....
I can't find anything on the net about how to install Win95.
It had win95 on it, but I formatted the virtual drive, and now it doesn't run WindowsWhat I was wondering, was has anyone played with one of these damn things, and if they know how to get win95 back on it. You can't map the CDrom to use it with out this so called macshare.exe file.
I want to get it running winamp, and use it as a windows based player, but I can't seem to fix it
Any help would be great thanks))

So what's the chances of you being able to pull that card out and use it without the MAC? That would make one tiny car computer!
Is it even possible?

yeah it's pretty small. it's 6"x4" and has all the stuff, except it has a 50 pin IDE? connector on the harddisk and CDROM?!! Other than that, you can plug a monitor in it, and power it from 12V. It doesn't have any interface stuff butThe keyboard, mouse, ethernet, floppy, and stuff runs virtual on the Mac somehow. There is only a DB15 joystick port, and a VGA monitor connector on the card plate. inside it has this wierd IDE thingy which loops through the main HDD and onto the MAC MB. It's crazy ****.

It's not any smaller than any of the SBC mother boards out there. And there's no way to power it or interface with it unless it's plugged into the Mac's PCI slot.Originally posted by Falcon62Travis:

If you want small you probably have to go with the stuff from Advantec or Cell Computing.
