Hey!
I'm stoked! I just won a Palm Vx !!! I did some stupid online survey, and they told me I'd won a Palm. I couldn't believe my eyes when it rocked up here yesterday
Now what sort of software is good for these babies? I wouldn't mind using some sort of mp3 player based control thing with it, but I have found 20 odd programs for mp3 control. Is there a good one out there that someone suggests?
Also I would like to design my own software for it, is there any good sites that are dedicated to "getting started?" I have VB and basic C skills, so are these any good to programming in Palm OS?
Any example code would be nice....
Now I'm streching the friendship
Thanks
Bj

Interesting use for my Palm (I actually have a Handspring Visor. It runs PalmOS though) today.. Serial Console for my linux based mp3 player. I was able to login and check my network config and reboot the machine (just for fun).. The cradle is wired like a null modem cable, so you just plug the cradle into the serial port that getty is running on and go..
I figure based on that, I could get a null modem cable out of my closet (and some gender changers) and hook it up to my old external modem and hop on the internet..
probably try that out if i get real bored..
I cheat, I own an empeg.
