Cable Modems??? Where to buy at good $ ??
Where can I get a good deal on buying a cable modem? I want to buy one and save 10 bucks a month, I figure I will use it for at least a year. I can get them off ebay for 120 or so, but where do the people that are selling them getting them?
Anyway one have any leads?

in my case with Optus@Home you sign up for a 12month contract and pay off the modem as you pay your monthly fee. After 12months the modem is yours and the monthly fee then drops.....
Would it not be the same where you are Jeff? I thought this would be the cheapest option to take.....

If you're still looking for a deal on a cable modem... or practically ANYTHING, for that matter, keep checking the Anandtech Hot-Deals pages. I buy a ton of crap, based on that site's members' posts.
