    Cool

I'm wondering about that "tumble again" remark. If you mean that I'm wrong, it happens sometimes. Part of the human condition...anyway....

I perhaps should have said that it is "much more difficult than people think to be anonymous on the internet". I doubt that petty vandals are versed in the techniques of IP spoofing, etc.

Anonymous providers are another thing, but I have lately not seen any (probably due to security concerns). Are there any around still?

Basically, I was just messing with the guys head. I have no time to actually track this person, and it was probably just someone making a joke anyway.

Yea, and since there is no way to track your phone number back to where you live...

To debunk all of this: internet cafes

    -the simplest, completely anonymous method

I didn't want people to waste too much effort thinking about this one.

Claiming to have done it was truely stupid .. but not inconceviable. Furthermore, just claiming to do something doesn't warrant invasion of privacy - not as long as there is reasonable doubt. =)

u use an internet cafe to set up the account but u cant be sure what things they got runnign in the background on those computers, most hackers and ppl will only use their own harware, that way they are sure that their session isnt being logged or recorded.
