im not really even into either supercars or muscle cars. lol. I'm more of an h-1 military hummer on 35" tires painted flat sand tan. or flat black. lol. but this new dodge is something specatular. not groundbreaking as you've discussed but gorgeous nontheless

Not too mention the fact that in order to even service one of those motors you need about 25k worth of speciality tools, and a damn Master's Degree in auto babble just to understand those engines.
Now take any good old fashioned hunk of Detroit Iron... any Joe Shoe with a basic set of tools from Craftsman and enough know how to change oil can keep a big block running. Not to mention that you can buy parts a lot easier and cheaper than Ferrari or Lambo. When was the last time you saw a timing chain or valve seals at the corner auto parts store?
You're mistaken. I've worked on and successfully fixed a V12 Lamborghini, Turbo MR2, 300ZX, Civic, Camry, Accord, with only six months of automotive mechanical experience.

I do understand where you're coming from however, just the other day I got under the hood of a 1968 Camaro SS, and good god did that make me want to work on it. But don't think that exotics are difficult to work with. They are just like any other car, they just burn more fuel.

    oh really?
and what exactly did you repair on that lambo engine?
ever change a head gasket on that v12? or change a camshaft, or even the timing chains on a Jag. v12?

after you locate the correct tools (and yes, there are several speciality tools required to do the job)
let me know how much you will need to spend.
