Maybe you shouldn't own a car at all. What makes you think I want you to buy a $50,000 car? Especially when I couldn't sell mine for more than $5000.

No, no it wasnt. It was built in Normal , Illinios in a mitsubishi factory by US UAW workers. DSM (Diamond Star Motors) was a joint venture between Mitsubishi and Chrysler; Your Mitsubishi Eclipse (and mine) were built side by side along with Eagle Talons (and prior to 1995 Plymouth Lazers) in the same factory.

Back to the original poster:

Get a nice used car or something Im sure you can find something in your price range better then either option you posted.

Way to show you know nothing about the subject.

Let's take a look at these two. The scion has 103 hp. That's ONE horse power more than my old Civic, and even with its 5-speed, that car went no where. The Element has 156 hp, so with this car I don't have to avoid hills. The Element is available with AWD, whereas the xB is nothing but FWD.

And look what else:



I can use the ******* dashboard. Last time I checked, the last thing I need is the passenger watching my speed.

Beyond the engine, and maybe the radio, remains a box with seats in the Scion. But there's still more to the Element than that. The Element has a removable roof, so I can stick something out the top or simply look up.

Most importantly, the floors are plastic, so that I can wash out the spooge stains I got from my shagfest when I took all the seats down and made one giant bed out of the interior:

Actually the speedo is in a better place in the Scion. It is more in the field of view vs looking down to check speed.
