Angry Bad Day Or Murphy's Law

every just have one of thoses days where nothing could go right? I'm talking a day where if you tried to cut you wrists the knife would be to dull to break the skin or the gun in your mouth would only click and no bang. Well that was Thursday, I will limit my ranting to my MP3 player, which was one the few things that came close to working right. Last weekend i pulled my drives updated the music and software and installed a shutdown controller, and all weeke it ran perfectly. After the day from hell times ten, I drove home from work at 5:30pm and the mp3 player was working perfectly. I got home packed my bags for a trip. hey great chance to finally use my gps for something other than testing right? So my Cluster F... of a day continues even after I'm home and I end up leaving for my trip 4 hours late. Okay it will all be over soon i can drive the next 4 hours and listen to my music and relax, heck no i get in my truck and the computer boots up it seems like it taking forever but i figured that was par for the course. Cobra tells me i need to reinstall Windows! HAHA! I reset it and change back to explorer's shell. The thing finally comes up and my touchscreen has lost its calibration...GRRRR... reach around and get the keyboard out and tell it to recalibrate...it crashes!!! Okay i can deal this is why i have a keypad so i don't have to use the touchscreen, I reboot, run scandisk no errors reinstall the drivers for the touchscreen...same thing crash!. Reboot again say forget this and deside to use the keypad and realise i forgot to program the arrow keys. and now that i've started typing on the keypad my keyboard doesn't work. Flipped the power button and put a cd in my head unit and drove off on my trip...2 hours of driving later I called the person i was going to send the weekend with and they tell me they have and emergency and have to go out of town this weekend. There goes my weekend...I pulled a U-turn across the grass in the highway and ejected that same cd and threw it out the window and drove back home with only the sounds of the criketts to keep me company.

Okay my compute is possessed! After all that i turned it back on and it botted up just fine no problems even the touchscreen was calibrated for me. i drove to the next town with the gps working and the music playing...and then about half way there the the demon woke up! the gps crashed the music stopped and the touch screen lost its mind...I'm going to shoot it in the head tonight. I'll post its out come in when i'm finished here or when its finished in the for sale section.

    Cool

I feel for you, seriously. We all have days like this. I usually have 7 a week or so.

But it sounds like the machine is overheating, or there is a loose connection somewhere (suspect memory, PCI cards).
