Just thought of something else-
In the UK the same do not call thing exists, called TPS. Which I have registered my landline to.
However I got a call from a company the other day, on my landline, who is on the register and should not have called.
So what happens if a company calls you on your mobile who shouldn't, is there a chargeback procedure?

they have a nextel plan -- unlimited in or out
long distance included
roaming , voice mail , call waiting , caller ID , call forwording , 3way calling
detailed billing ( kind of a joke ,unless you bill someone else by the minute)
and nation wide direct connect
all for 199.00 per month
that 44640 minutes or just .00445 cent per minute if you could stay awake for 31 days
Looks good.
I got off track there.
I was just amazed that it would cost for receiving calls, didn't want to get into a price plan comparison debate.
How long do I have to stand in the corner?...![]()

I have had this plan for 4+ years. I am month to month. Have been for 2+ years. My contract expired, and I won't "sign up" again.
lol... you can't compare an apple to an orange... In the USA like many other things, it's different than europe... And sad thing is, tat we pay for it... We only can do it, b/c we can afford to pay it... If the USA was a poor country, noone would buy such plans, therefore it would be cheaper... It's all on the phone companies wanting to get richer and richer...
yes, I was being sarcastic, that is why I said JK (just kidding)Originally Posted by stuseed
