    Tv Card Recording Software

    anyone know a good program for recording and scheduling via a database of whats on etc

    eg. i choose family guy and it finds the family guys comming up in my local cable area so that i can tivo programs to watch when im out?

    and are there any programs that cut out the commercials (because commercials always have a lower or higher volume i believe)

    btw i have an ATI AIW 9600 vid card
    and i cant stand the defualt multimedia center garbage software it comes with

    any suggestions guys

    I got the same card and the same complaints.

    Except that every now and then, mine will just stop capturing for a couple weeks. It'll work fine for a few months, but then it'll just stop again. No real rhyme or reason to it.

    yea i thought i found something too it was called showshifter but it crashed when i stopped recording

    i looked at those too WMC might work but meedio doesnt support this damn card either
