Just happened to notice that noone's actually posted a McLaren F1 pic, so...

... Still drooling... the only drawback, although it is a REALLY cool feature, is that the driver sits in the middle, and the 2 passenger seats are outboard and slightly aft of the driver's seat.

If you're stuck behind a big truck and you want to pass, you've got 2 choices:

1 - VERY QUICKLY swerve into oncoming traffic enough to see when the next chance to pass is, or...

2 - REALLY TRUST your left-side passenger to do it for you... Hmmm...

My choice would be a 84 Thunderbird with the 302 V8 this was one of the best cars i ever owned (had to give it up when i got a married sigh) it was a nice balance between power and handling.
i am curently saving up to get another one soon

There's nothing wrong with thread revival.

It's no secret, my dream car is the Acura NSX. Daily driveable, tunable, reliable, and its a ferrari killer.

oh yeah totally sweet. But this is still a thread thta was abandoned four years ago!

As for the central driving position - it is cool but a pain in the *** to get into (i should know - :p ) - but then again it was the GTR race car so you had to be extra careful due to the switches and fire extinguishers.

Igbr, the NSX is a fine car - damn fine, but it just never really took off over here. Big shame. The styling appeals more to you americans and us over here. Dunno why, it's nice but not nice enough i guess.

Most of those who bought it did so for the right reasons - cracking engine, fantastic chassis and built by Honda but at the end of the day we saw it as an expensive Honda that wanted to be a ferrari. It may be faster than one but it still isn't one. Just like you might have a suit which looks like an Armani one, is more practical than an Armani one but quite simply isn't. I think it is down to Honda having a slightly different image over there to over here and your tastes being different - christ - look at some American built cars - they wouldnt last 5 minutes over here with their styling etc. But the same probably goes for our small cars with tiny engines etc etc.

1963 VW Deluxe Micro Bus with 23 windows and two sunroofs... one 7 foot long, of course it would have a '73 type 4 motor in it and bay windows, but that would be one sweet ride!

Not a volkswagen fan, but I really respect that. I would not mind an Accord wagon, or perhaps something stylish like a Mazda6 wagon. Wrap around couch and big screen TV baby.

1967 Chevy Impala SS..... with a 427 ci motor.(mine is a 327)

better yet a new Fuel Injected crate motor with OBDII,
updated suspension, Disc Brakes all around.
Shaved handles,
Lexus Pearl white paint
