And please don't take it the wrong way. I was not "ragging" on the original poster, I was ragging on those idiots that rice out otherwise decent (but not necessarily my style) cars.

So Aaron, what exactly is your definition of "ricing-out" ?
Not long ago, you were goading about buying a turbo for your RX-7 .. surely that qualifies. [bolt-on]
Does changing to wider, low-profile rims/rubber qualify as ricing-out?
Your "basic performance mods" certainly qualify .. now don't they ?
.. seems like a double-standard to me
Ricing out: making an car look and sound faster without actualy making it go faster.
A turbo actualy adds noticable performance, unlike silly little air filters and big exhaust systems that only make a car louder.
if you want a car to go fast you need to start w. something that is not an economy car. for imports go out and get a rx7, supra, mr2, GSX, etc... something with a turbo and not FWD.
