ok I added myself, but you need to work on the layout when you view it. Everything is bunched up together making it hard to read.

What kind of info would you like? I thought just about everything was covered. This was ment as a kind of registry, not a setup database, like MP3car.com already has.

As for the layout suggestion, I am tweaking it on a daily basis till everything is right. So keep the suggestions coming!

would be nice if you could edit your info, if u move house or get new car

but then you would have to sign up and have password etc. might be easier to tell u del old and make a new one

Hi there - Is there any way to refine a few things? For instance, for us Canucks, in the "state" field, one could either enter BC or British Columbia. If you do a search under BC, you get a different listing than you do for British Columbia.

Maybe just state on your "submit" page, that ppl use either their state/prov abbreviations or the full name, etc.???

Killer idea. I just found 3 people near me when I thought that I was the only one up here in the north east playing with all this crazy stuff.

One thing I would like to see added is the date that they registered. I think it would help to weed out the ones that might not be doing this anymore. You know, so you could try and get in touch with the ones that are newly registered so the odds would be better that they were still working on their project and would converse on it.

Just my thoughts for the evening.

UPDATE: I moved farther north. Now its even too cold for the deer; only moose now

I like the idea! I have a few suggestions though.

On the results page, have the "webpage" links open up in new windows. It's much easier that way, because people can still have the listings up while browsing the other websites.

Just overall "code cleaning". If you need some help with the HTML side, I'd love to help. That's what I do for a living (outside of school). So if you need some help, just ask. I'd love to help.

Nice site though. Once I get my computer built, I'll add my link.

Thanks for the offer Sliverkg, but I do this for a living. Nothing this simple, but I just threw it together in a few hours, and hoped people would make suggestions. I really don't code pure HTML anymore since I learned ASP a couple years ago. Thanks for the suggestion, I will have the links open in a new window.

Monger: Most of the records (about 180) that are in there now I pulled off of the old site that mp3car.com had, but gave up on. I went through them pretty good, got out the bad links and dupes. Since I really have no idea how old some of them are I can't date them. It's a good idea, if it was started from scratch.
