I'd actually go to 1977 and pick up the Caddy Fleetwood Brougham.
My mom had one of these, and man I loved that car.

Ill take the caddy, it look more classy. The BMW look like junk even when it was new![]()
It's odd that the smaller Seville cost more than the larger 500ci Deville, that full sized car gave more Caddy for the cash.Maybe GM was preparing the way for the Cimarron. That was a nice little car.

how about the Plymouth Duster or Plymouth Valiant
We had both when I was a kid - one would do a easy 155mph
and the other over 175mph, big V8s burnt gas like water
the Duster we had was a "Gold Duster" had a alligator top
- the top of the car looked like golden alligator skin
hay it was the 70s what did you expect
My fiancee's (sp?) father has that exact car in great shape in a cream color with a matching softop. ******* thing is HUGE.Originally Posted by tj!2k4

Happy to hear that his is still in great condition.. My mom's was baby blue. I was hoping to be able to hang onto it and eventually restore it, but that's unfortunately not the way the cards were dealt.

ya not an easy car to just keep around. He is retired from GM (worked down in the Hawthorne plant before it closed) So he always has like 4 cars because the discount is so decent. He built an extra set of garages and the thing has practicly lived in storage. He thought about selling it last year becuase he does not use it much anymore (like 5 times a year) but they did not seem to be selling for much, so he decided to hold onto it.Originally Posted by tj!2k4

I'd take the BMW of course. But from 75, it would have to be the 3.0cs..Originally Posted by walt
