Post What I do to feed the pie hole

Ever wonder what others on the forum do for a living? I have.
I have been doing car audio sales and installation for about 12 years. Mostly high end fabrication for show, like this: http://www.geocities.com/stevebang2000/Ram.html

I just graduated from San Jose State University with a BS in Administration of justice and am applying with several law enforcement agencies, so I will be leaving the industry soon.
Feel free to say a few words about what you guys do, always good reading...

Personally I am an independant web designer (aka: out of work ) and I also do computer design and repair on the side. I'm learning PHP right now in hopes of getting a job at a company I know.

    Resume if anybody is interested!

I am a lazy student, I do nothing in my spare time that I can avoid doing, I like my room messy, clean it about once a year, its messy again within 2 weeks... I don't really like working, but have gotten some odd jobs repairing electrical and electronic equiptment (some of these jobs don't even pay in cash, they pay in chocolate) and also repair computers, and swap stuff at a gain.. I am only writing this because I could't delete the message, so I had to edit it to match the topic, well, thankyou for listening, and goodnight..

    good forum thread steve671!

Okay, I am a software developer working with .ASP and SQL server developing our companies own content management system software package, which currently supports over 30 clients and growing. Work is always flat-out with 30+ employees on the team, developing new features and coding, always coding.

Also work as a freelance web developer, working in PHP and mySQL since I prefer that! And sell computer systems/packages to people who want them too.

Well im a full time uni student studying Computer & Information science, with a minor in Multimedia.

But to pay the rent and bills, i work casually in a service station (gas station) as a console opperator.

BUT I'm getting excited about an opportunity that may be poping up in the near future for me to get back into computer sales / tech work, just down the road

    Hi,

    /me = 23
/me works as a Software Developer (MSAccess (VBA), VB (front-end)
/me also does 'something' with databases (development) (back-end)
All of my work is project-based, so when the job is done I go to some other company and help to solve problems there.

Therefore it is not sure that my next project will be VB-based.
One project was to develop the internetsite for www.dsm.com
Another project was to develop the beginning of the philips FreeSpeech project
And so on, And so on.

Good thread, it's great to learn more about the members. I'm 27 and I work as a reporting analyst for a large bank. I do most of my work on the mainframe (SAS, DB2). Who would have guessed that those Cobol and RPG courses in college would actually come in handy??

    Wait a sec, wrong forum...

I work as a computer tech full time. No schooling after high school due to the fact that I loathe school with every fiber of my being. I do hardware, software, web, networking...basically everything to do with computers. It's a unique shop, not your typical computer store. We do anything from installing CDRW drives to custom hardware, consulting, etc.
