If you're not making enough money, get a better education and a better job. Don't ask for money you didn't earn. Is this concept so difficult to grasp?

    You are dead WRONG.
If you are student and working part time, you get this credit.
Event if you just get a $100K job and only work for couple weeks till year end, you get this credit too.
The point here is how much you make till year end.
I got credit for both case.
When I was student working partime, I earn the credit.
After grad, I start my real high paying job on Dec 1st, I still get the credit. Do I need a better education? guess not.

Hah, thats why I went to college and I am a network admin/Hardware Specialist. I can't help where I live, I cant afford to move all around the country to bigger cities, so what do you suppose?

I didnt ask for the money, but if it is being given, why would I not take it? You can really tell by talking about taxes how much money people make around here. You feel that you should be compensated and have more tax breaks, because you are well-off/rich.

    How does that work out?

No offense, but it's not MY problem that people don't make enough money. Yet I still have pay their bills. Why should I be punished for being successful while others are rewarded for not taking care of themselves? Thats whats wrong with the EITC.

That said I don't blame you for taking the money. I would too. I still think we should do away with the law. Solution = FAIR TAX

I do believe that is the first time I have ever been accused of being rich.

I'm not rich, and I don't make 60k. I was making 24k and that really sucked, so you know what I did?

I got another ******* job in a different state, where I could make some decent money. It took me a couple months to save the money to move, but I happen to believe that if I don't have enough money to eat, its my own goddamned fault for being too lazy to change my own situation, and I won't ask to tax YOU for MY laziness.
